Made a quick stop here before heading home. The menu isn't as large as other places but they offer interesting ones too. I got their pistachio vanilla latte which came with an espresso bean. Service was quick and our barista was friendly. I wish I liked my drink but the pistachio flavor was lacking. I liked the espresso bean more than my drink. So much so that I got a large bag of it.
Stopped by the human bean before my boyfriend and i went fishing! We woke up at 5am and we definitely needed our caffeine fix and i've been wanting to try this place for the longest time ever since we always pass through rio vista when we're heading to socal and i'm so glad we finally tried it!!!! It's a cute little drive thru coffee shop and you can also walk up and order as well (kinda like dutch bros). They also have a few seating areas at the walk up window which is nice if you want to enjoy the weather. Although if you do want to park, parking may be a little hard since it's right next to a car dealership. My boyfriend and i just stuck to the drive thru since we wanted to fish asap. The drive thru entrance was a little hard to find, but we were still able to find the sign. It wasn't too busy since we arrived there around 6am so we had enough time to be able to look through their menu and see all their selections. I really wanted to order the matcha latte since that's my go-to at any coffee shop, but my boyfriend told me i should try something different so instead i chose the mexi mocha and my boyfriend ordered the snowy mocha. They also had a few different food items, a kid's menu, as well as some energy drink-esque drinks that i would love to try next time! Barista's were nice & friendly. And we got our drinks in no time. I love how they give you a complimentary chocolate covered espresso bean, which was surprisingly good and the bean wasn't too overpowering, the flavors together were perfect! My boyfriend and i enjoyed our drinks as well, i definitely wish i got a bigger size of my drink so i could've enjoyed more of it. You could definitely taste the spices in the drink as well as the cinnamon which was nice because i hate when my coffee is watered down. We will definitely be coming back here again if we ever pass through rio vista! Hopefully they even open up a human bean in the solano county area! :)))
HB is a walk up and drive thru coffee kiosk on CA 12. The coffee is tasty and they have treats for pets. I haven't tried their other drinks.
We were headed back home from watching an insane illegal street race between a Camaro and a F150(fast) down by the water, when my wife said she felt a bit parched. We decided to swing by "The Frijole"(as all the hip kids call it), and try the energy drink smoothies. The gal working the register was very kind. These drinks has an explosion of flavor!!! The whole thing was a very real experience! Unlike the moon landing... which is totally fake. Seriously, the lunar lander looks like trash bags and tinfoil taped together. Google it right now! Stop reading and google it! Am I right? And somehow we just lost all the documents on how this stuff was built? And scientists can't figure out how to get through the radiation belt? No way... not buying it. Give me a thumbs up if you agree. Oh, the ambiance was very aesthetically pleasing.
I love visiting The Human Bean for awesome drinks. My favorite beverages include the Blueberry Pomegranate smoothie, the Strawberry Banana smoothie, the Java Chip, and the Frozen Hot Chocolate. It's always nice to receive a free Espresso bean with every purchase of a drink, too. Thumbs up for this wonderful place!
A great place to stop for a coffee or specialty espresso drink in Rio Vista. The Irish cream breve that I ordered was good and not too sweet. My wife enjoyed her green tea smoothie as well. Next time I will try their espresso granita that was churning in the frozen drink maker. Barista at the window was friendly. Drinks come with their signature chocolate-covered coffee bean. We'll definitely go back again.
Love this little local coffee drive thru! I discovered this place last year on my way to visit my dad's grave at the Sacramento National Cemetery shortly after he passed last February and I have since made it a ritual to stop here every time before I head out to visit him. The coffee is good and the staff is always very friendly and I of course love the complementary chocolate covered espresso bean that adorns their drinks. Will continue to make this my go to coffee stop on my drive up up from the bay area to visit my dad.
